A true treat yourself moment - snagging a seat at Bar Podmore's grand opening.

What could have possibly caused Ice Forest to shut down....? This vibrant gem offering rich and meticulously prepared evening snacks, creative cocktails and a dreamy, visually pleasing interior. I think I wanted to come here mostly to just sit in the space and soak it all in, but the consumables created by the celebrated duo Chef Anthony Rush @chefantrush and Katherine Nomura @spicytunataco, spearheaded by the D'Ascoli ohana, add a nice touch.

To start, I ordered the"Mr. Manager," a take on a banana Daquiri, and later the "Ants on a Log" which was excellent, and compels me to encourage everyone put celery stalks in your gin, immediately. Must-order-agains for me are their Hamachi "roll," pork bao, mini scotch eggs, and of course their foie gras parfait. I cannot wait for their brunch offerings which start next month! Also, anyone want to work thru their cocktail menu with me?
